Just like every structure needs a foundation, so does every brand. The brand strategy process serves as the groundwork for all aspects of your brand. Without it, people will struggle to understand who you are and what you stand for — you may even begin to lose sight of your goals and objectives. However, a well-thought-out strategy will help you avoid these pitfalls. Aside from sparing you from unnecessary confusion and frustration, creating a solid plan propels your brand in the right direction. Once we’ve set up the foundation, we’ll use your custom brand strategy roadmap as a guide for building a strong visual identity system.

The Startup Brand


Similarly to newlyweds only needing a studio apartment, not everyone is ready for a two-story house with a garage — and that’s ok! Sometimes you don’t need all the bells and whistles to have exactly what you need in the early days of your business. Someday you may upgrade to that “two-story home,” but today you’ve determined that a smaller space will serve you best. Once you’ve outgrown your startup brand, it may be time to expand to The Established Brand package.

If you’ve been in business for a while and you’re ready to level up, you may want to consider rebrand. Maybe your current brand is super limiting, outdated, failing to attract your dream clients, or simply isn’t serving you well. That’s where I come in and completely revamp your visual identity to strategically align with your goals and provide the longevity you deserve. When should I hire a designer?

Great question! In this day and age, there are a number of design tools created specifically for non-designers (i.e. Canva). However, these programs are limited in what they can offer and you may reach a point where it’s just not enough. Graphic designers specialize in creating brands that are specifically targeted toward your audience and strategically aimed to generate profitable results — unlike one-size-fits-all solutions. So if you’re ready to invest in yourself and eager to level up your business, that’s the perfect time to outsource design!

Will you help me understand how design works and how to best utilize it?

Absolutely! During our discovery call, we'll first chat about my process and determine if branding is the best solution for your needs at this time. Upon the completion of your project, I'll teach you how to launch and implement your brand. I'm also happy to answer any questions you may have along the way!

Do you offer payment plans?

Typically clients pay 50% down to secure their spot and 50% before the final files are delivered. However, should you require a flexible payment plan, we can discuss additional options available!

What is your hourly rate?

Instead of an hourly rate, I offer custom packages tailored to your specific needs. During our discovery call, we'll select which package is most appropriate for you at the stage of business you are in now. My clients initially invest between $3k–$8k for brand strategy and identity design. Please reach out if you have any specific questions about pricing — I’m very transparent!

How will I receive my files?

Throughout the process, you will receive digital proofs, mockups, visual presentations, and walkthrough videos! All final files will be delivered once your invoice has been paid and processed. Access to your client folder will be available through a private link upon the completion of your brand! I frequently backup all of my work, but I highly recommend saving your own copies for good measure. If you happen to lose a file by accident, let me know and I’ll recover it for you!

How long will my project take and how soon can we start?

I generally book up to two months out and most projects take 8 to 12 weeks, depending on the level of complexity involved. Timelines may be subject to change when necessary, but ongoing milestones exist to keep the project moving forward, so you can launch as soon as possible!

“I’m concerned about taking the leap and investing in my business.”

As a creative entrepreneur, I personally understand how difficult it can be to invest in your business. Of course, there are affordable alternatives to design, but they aren’t as strategic as going through the branding process with a professional. In the Brand Foundation phase, I offer an immediately beneficial, yet approachable entry point for people to begin improving their business right away.

“I just need a logo.”

A single logo can be helpful, but it lacks the longevity and versatility of an entire visual identity system. If you want your brand to continually generate results and a profitable ROI, you’ll need more than a logo. When it comes to design, if one element is mediocre, it will dilute the overall brand. For that reason alone, I recommend diving deeper than just a surface-level logo.

“I don’t know exactly what I need or how to even work with a designer.”

No worries, that’s what discovery calls are for! Come ready to discuss where you are at in your business and I will help identify the right direction for you. If this is your first time working with a designer, we can chat about what the process looks like.

“I have a small budget because my business is struggling during this season.”

In uncertain times, it can be challenging to manage a small business. If you are struggling financially, I can offer you an extended payment plan and/or a simplified brand package. Should your budget change in the future, we can always create additional collateral items then. If you want to secure today's rate, I honor quotes for bookings made within three months of inquiring.
